Terms & Conditions:

1. Behavioural Criteria

The safety of all dogs in our care is of utmost importance to us. To ensure all dogs enjoy a safe and enjoyable stay with us, the following behavioural criteria must be met:

Dogs must not display aggressive behaviours towards other dogs or humans.
Dogs must be willing to share toys with humans and dogs.
Dogs must not be chronic barkers, respecting our neighbors.

If your dog does display any of these concerns, we are unable to accept accept them. We want every dog to have a safe and stress-free environment to play in. We thank you for your consideration and cooperation with our policy.

2. Acknowledgment of Risk

I, the undersigned, understand that participation in doggie daycare activities involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, injuries, illnesses, or exacerbation of existing medical conditions. I assume full responsibility for these risks.

3. Waiver of Liability

I agree to waive and release Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc., its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action for any injury, illness, or damage resulting from my dog’s participation in daycare activities, including transportation to and from the daycare.

4. Personal Information

I understand that Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. will collect and store personal information as part of their service. I agree to hold Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. harmless from any unauthorized disclosure or misuse of this information, barring negligence or willful misconduct.

5. Special Medical Needs

I have disclosed any special medical conditions, medications, or dietary requirements of my senior dog to Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. I understand that the daycare staff will do their best to accommodate these needs, but I release them from any liability should complications arise.

6. Behavioural Issues

I certify that my dog has not shown aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or humans. I understand that Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. reserves the right to remove any dog from the daycare if they deem it necessary for the safety and well-being of all dogs and staff.

7. Photography and Social Media

I grant permission to Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. to use photos and videos of my dog for promotional purposes, including social media.

8. Damages

By signing this waiver, I hereby acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for any and all damages, injuries, or harm caused by my dog to other dogs, individuals, or property while attending Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc., its employees, agents, and representatives from any claims, lawsuits, or actions resulting from such damages, injuries, or harm. I understand that Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. is not liable for any injuries or damages caused by my dog.

9. Term and Termination

This waiver shall remain in effect for all future visits to Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. unless revoked in writing by either party.

Daycare Policies

All appointments are subject to approval.

All dogs must be in good health before attending daycare. If your dog is showing ANY signs of sickness, you must to call us at 604-625-4411 to cancel your appointment that day. Please do not email or text.

Services, Pricing, and Policies are subject to change.

We reserve the right to remove a dog from our daycare at any time.

All purchases from hugsandkisses.ca, and Hugs and Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. are non-refundable.

Appointments can only be booked 2 days prior to the appointment start time (before 07:00 AM two days prior).

5 Day Packages expire after 30 days, 10 and 20 day packages expire after 60 days.

Scheduled Appointments can be only Re-Scheduled by contacting us by email or telephone, and can only be rescheduled 3 days / 72 hours before your scheduled appointment (before 7am three days prior).

Appointments can not be cancelled.

Packages are best for dogs attending once a week or more. Priority is given to package clients. Single-day session clients, please email us prior to booking for approval.

Ensure your dog has had a full bathroom break before entering our delivery vehicle. Any mess in the vehicle will incur a $250 cleaning fee (excluding medical episodes). Repeated issues will result in removal from daycare. This mess is unsanitary and difficult to clean. It could permanently damage our vehicle interior.

As a delivery service, we are on a timed schedule. Have your dog ready between the pick-up times. If we do not hold a key or code to retrieve your dog, and you do not answer the door within five minutes, we will leave. A session will be removed from your package, unless you can drop your dog off at the park during the walk time scheduled for that day. Please call 604-626-4411 if this occurs.

Do not send food with your dog if they haven’t eaten breakfast. Dogs need one to two hours after eating before exercise to prevent bloating and GDV.

Clients are assigned days based on location, temperament, and size. Stick to the assigned days. Email us if you need to change days, and we will try to accommodate your request.

We value communication. If we are running late or unable to provide service due to employee sickness, we will contact you.

We will notify you if your dog appears unwell or if there are any incidents involving your dog.

Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc. owns all media and reserves the right to replicate and distribute it on social media and other platforms.

Rainbow Bridge Policy

Hugs & Kisses Doggie Daycare Inc.'s policy is to have on file a precautionary protocol for our guests to assist us in following your wishes in the unlikely event your beloved pet passes away while in our care.

For those with more than one pet attending, the policy will apply for each.
